Oakland Venue Management expertise goes beyond events and venues. Since 2009, our project management team has focused on the day-to-day operation of Downtown Oakland’s Community Benefit Districts (CBDs.) The CBDs are special assessment districts funded by property owners within a self selected boundary. These 501(c)3 organizations host a wide variety of programs, marketing local businesses and increasing visibility through its online platform: Oakland Central; and provides landscaping safety and maintenance services in the public right of way.

Through our role managing the Community Benefit Districts, our project management team helps facilitate a functional public/private partnership with the City of Oakland working closely with all city departments. Oakland Venue Management is fully engaged with the Oakland community and is dedicated to helping the City of Oakland achieve its’ full potential.

Our team currently overseas the Downtown Oakland Association, the Lake Merritt-Uptown District Association, and the Jack London Improvement District. Together these three districts make up the Broadway corridor and are helping to
revitalize Oakland’s historic business district.
